Laughing Heart Music is pleased to offer one hour long, one-on-one consultations with our very own Mary Beth Waldram. Your one-hour consultation will be tailored to your needs at whatever stage of your career you may be in. We offer comprehensive career guidance advice essential for navigating the dynamic landscape of the music industry. Our sessions cover a spectrum of topics that are crucial to building a successful career, including:
- Booking, showcasing, and festival application support
- Artist branding and image cultivation
- Music production, distribution, and marketing strategies
- How to effectively leverage digital platforms and social media to maximize exposure and engage with audiences
- Revenue generation, including royalties, live performances, merchandise, and sync licensing opportunities

About Mary Beth Waldram
Since 2008, Mary Beth Waldram has organized and supervised large-scale events, created successful grant proposals, and helped various artists with their work. Mary Beth is a graduate of Memorial University’s School of Music and Nova Scotia Community College’s Music Business Program. She’s since gone on to work with many Atlantic Canadian music festivals including Halifax Pop Explosion, Lawnya Vawnya and The Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival, all while managing bands and booking tours for Atlantic Canadian artists. Winner of MusicNL’s Industry Professional of the Year 2022, Mary Beth currently resides in St. John’s, NL.
Mary Beth has sat on panels for organizations like CAPACOA, the Shift Change Conference, Music PEI, and the College of the North Atlantic. She was worked with organizations such as Lawnya Vawnya, The Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival, Atlantic Presenters Association, St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival, Halifax Jazz Festival, East Coast Music Association, Halifax Pop Explosion, and many more. Her expertise spans many years and topics, and she would love to meet to chat about your next project!
